All Gear Boxes that ship from Milnor as a replacement gear box for your machine ship without a vented plug installed. This plug is in the box and should be added at time of installation. Also note that the gear boxes ship without oil inside due to shipping requirements. You must add oil prior to running. Failure to do so will result in the rapid destruction of the gears.
