Overfilling
Overfilling on machines with H Style boards
If you are experiencing problems with overfilling on machines with H style boards check the following:
1. How is the level tub connected to the transducer?
a. It should have a brass nut and not a plastic hose clamp. Kit KYPTT00001 contains the brass nut and correct tube.
2. There may be a problem with the transducer. Follow the following troubleshooting directions:
a. Check the M4 plug for broken wires.
b. Check ALL the plugs on the processor for broken pins. Broken pins in the M6 plug has caused overfilling.
c. Check M3-12 to be sure the wire is there.
d. Read dc from M4-3 (wire 7 - gnd) to IC20 pin 6. This is the output of the chip and the dc volts should start near 0vdc and go up .1 vdc per inch.
The IC20 chip is an 8 pin, and if the notch is away from you pin 1 is left of the notch and pin 8 is right of the notch. See below for pin config:
1 8
2 7
3 6
4 5
Pins 4 and 5 are gnd.
Pin 7 is +5vdc.
Pin 6 is the output of the chip.
Pin 3 reads about .75 at all times.
If all these things are working OK it is probably the D/A chip on the processor. Change the processor.
3. Be sure the tube is not clogged.
