Serial Display
Common problems when replacing the display board (08BHEPSPCT) attached to the 08BH188AT processor board.
This display is typically used in all EP Plus machines manfactured since 2000 that utilize the 08BH18xxx processor board, or it will be used to replace older non-serial (3 wire) displays.
After changing the display board, and returning power to the machine, it shows a blank square in the upper right corner, indicates that the display is not talking with the processor board.
Check the following;
DC voltage to the board
EPROM is inserted correctly
Display boardis connected to the correct MTA plug as shown in the attachment.
