A graduate of Pius XI High School and the University of St. Thomas, Dineen dedicated over 50 years of his professional career to the textile maintenance industry, including over 30 years to Pellerin Milnor Corporation. His unique talent in fostering genuine relationships made him a well-known and respected name throughout the industry.

Dineen was a transformative figure and devoted his career to innovation, leadership, and service. Beginning as an intern with American Linen Supply in Minneapolis, he went on to hold influential leadership roles that shaped the industry’s direction. He served as Vice President of Ludell Manufacturing Company from 1962-1984 and Director of Marketing for Washex Corporation from 1984-1986.

He then joined Milnor as Director of Marketing – Large Laundry Systems. His success in this position and strength in developing relationships with his peers led to his quick promotion to Vice President. He retired in 2017 but the lasting connections he formed remained of utmost importance.

Beyond corporate leadership, Dineen gave tirelessly to industry associations, serving as Director for ARTA and TRSA and Committee Chairman for TRSA, UTSA, TCATA, and SWLA.

His legacy is one of a profound commitment to the betterment of the textile maintenance industry and community.

James W. Pellerin, President and CEO of Pellerin Milnor Corporation, reflected on Mike’s impact, stating: “Mike Dineen came to Milnor as a seasoned veteran, having designed and sold heat recovery systems throughout the country. As such, he possessed a vast knowledge of people and places which helped us immensely. Mike created and nourished his personal relationships with decision-makers in our industry, retaining goodwill during his long career. Honestly and integrity were his calling cards. It was always a pleasure to be wherever Mike worked his charm. He will long be remembered with fondness and respect.”

In addition to his professional career, Mike enjoyed spending time skiing, hiking, camping and fishing in rivers. Mike was a dedicated and proud husband, father, grandfather and friend, who spoke highly of all those he loved.

He is survived by his wife Suzanne (Monday); children, Kerry (Matthew), Kevin (Erin), Brendan (Michelle), and Daniel (Kate); and eight grandchildren – all of whom he loved deeply.
