High in the Eastern Sierra, at over 8,000 feet in Mammoth Lakes, CA, The Laundry Annex services the community no matter what Mother Nature brings.

This independent laundry, owned by Phil Charlton, supports businesses from Bishop Creek to Bridgeport and processes linen for more than 60 customers.

Their team of 35 employees (20+ full-time year-round) have more than a century of combined operational experience and process over 16,000 pounds of laundry a day. During the holidays that number can exceed 20,000 pounds.

And in Mammoth, reliability matters. Roads close for 100+ mph winds, blizzards, and wildfire, but The Laundry Annex team still shows up.

The laundry utilizes eleven Milnor washer-extractors, including nine 140 lb models and two 60 lb models, and recently retired a Milnor washer that had been running since 1997. Thanks to quick coordination with local dealer Western State Design, the team picked up and replaced a 42026V6Z within 24 hours (on Christmas Eve none-the-less!), keeping operations moving without missing a beat.
