SUBJECT: MILNOR PC BOARDS NOW HAVE A 2 YEAR WARRANTY!


Dear MILNOR Dealer:

Our new policy is a vast improvement over the old system. Please read the following and if you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us.

HOW TO PROCEED

1. When a PC board is declared bad by the dealer and is within the warranty period, the dealer should replace the PC board with a rebuilt board - not a new board. (The warranty is the same.)

2. The suspect PC board should be sent to the MILNOR Warranty Department for credit/replacement. We will issue a rebuilt replacement or credit for a rebuilt board (rather than a new board or credit for a new board). MILNOR will not return a PC board back to you as "tested good".

We will process the suspect board through our normal tests and repair the board if we find a problem. MILNOR will then "burn-in" cycle at temperature extremes) the board for 300 hours as part of our standard board test process. We will keep this board, at MILNOR, in stock as a rebuilt board.

Also, you can purchase rebuilt boards for less than new boards. Rebuilt boards can be purchased for 80% of new board cost, which should please the customer's pocketbook.

3. We do offer a core credit for old PC boards. The amount varies from board to board, but is approximately 20%.

The following conditions must be met to receive credit for a failed board:
a. No evidence of chemical damage.
b. The board must be in a rebuildable condition.
c. The board must be less than 5 years old.
d. The board must be returned through a dealer, prepaid to MILNOR.
