SUBJECT: TUNNELS AREN'T JUST FOR BIG LAUNDRIES ANY MORE!

Dear MILNOR Dealer:

The attached article by Norvin Pellerin describes why the time is right for tunnel washing in smaller laundries -- or for small or specialty lots in large laundries.

The time is right because of the following technology -- all offered by Milnor:

* A small-batch tunnel with top transfer design that does not compromise mechanical action since (unlike competitive brands) the diameter of each module is the same as our full-sized machine. Only the length of the module is smaller.

* The ability to use fewer modules in Milnor 110lb. batch washers (because individual modules can provide multiple functions through Milnor's flow/no flow systems -- and thanks also to top transfer, which by its nature requires fewer modules because of enhanced dilution).

* Milnor's centrifugal extractor, which can process all items -- including barrier cloth, mats, as well as the most finicky polyester - blended garments.

With these advancements, increasing numbers of customers should find tunnels worth a serious look.
