SUBJECT: FUSE CHANGES IN 30015K5 MACHINES

Dear MILNOR Dealer, Service Engineer, Service Manager:

We've discovered only 2 days ago an error in the fusing information for 30015K5 machines previously shipped. The motor on this machine was changed from a 2 hp to a 3 hp motor. Unfortunately, the fusing information was left at 15 amps for 208/240 volt services.

The correct fuse size is 20 amps for 208/240 volt services. The nameplates on these machines are incorrect, but more importantly the machine will probably cause nuisance fuse problems.

This information must be delivered to the customer as quickly as possible. The 14 gauge wire which is called for on the machine nameplate is correct for the 20 amp fuse sizing.

We appreciate your immediate attention in identifying these customers and notifying them of this fuse change.

If new nameplates are desired for these machines, please call the MILNOR Warranty Department at 504-467-9591, Ext.324, giving them model and serial number of the machine so that we may expedite new nameplates to you. Please see the attached "modified" fuse & wire guide for these models.

Additionally, give us the full customer information at that time.
