SUBJECT: ISOLATORS ON 30022F8 MACHINES

Dear MILNOR Dealer/Customer:

This notification is presented to you based on a requestt for parts for isolators on a 30022F8 machine.

The isolator design has changed on this machine and is subject to a no charge retrofit in the event that any isolator problems exist.

The original isolators work appropriately for a majority of machines running in the field. However, on a few machines, we noticed the springs on the isolator assembly twisting and causing a interference problem with the shell front and the frame.

In the event that you have placed an order or requested part numbers for any old isolator components, we will provide to you at no charge an isolator retrofit for the entire machine. This requires that all old isolators be removed and that four new isolators be fitted to the machine. We anticipate this exercise/retrofit to take approximately 5 man-hours to complete. MILNOR will reimburse the labor charge for this retrofit at a maximum charge of $300.00.

The retrofit task is relatively straight forward though the shell weldment will have to be modified in the field by notching the frame for the larger spring carrier.

Detailed instructions will be offered with the shipment of isolators.

MILNOR Tech Service can help with any questions. Please refer them to instructions for 30022F8 Isolator Retrofit.

Best regards,
