SUBJECT: PRESS MECHANICALLY ACTUATED SWITCHES CHANGED TO PROXIMITY SWITCHES

Dear MILNOR Dealer/Customer:

Over the past year, we have changed mechanically actuated switches to proximity switches in some position sensing applications on the membrane press. The mechanically actuated switches were affected by moisture and were sensitive to over-travel. The proximity switches respond well to the environment and should provide years of trouble free service. The following applications are affected:

1. Sled slow/stop switches
2. Sled door open switches
3. Sled door closed switches
4. PrePress tamper 2/3 down switch

Please pass this information on to your customers who still have mechanically actuated switches in these applications. The following are the kit numbers:

1. KUCDSS0100 Sled slow/stop
2. KUCDSD0100 Sled door open
3. KUCDSDC100 Sled door closed
4. KUCTSD0001 PrePress tamper 2/3 down

Prices are found in the MILNOR Parts Price Book. If there are any questions regarding these upgrades, please contact MILNOR's Technical Support Department at 504-464-0163.

Thank you.

Yours truly,

PELLERIN MILNOR CORPORATION
