Subject: Electromagnetic Interference and Snubber Boards

Dear MILNOR Dealer/Customer:

You will remember a recent problem with snubber boards on System 7 and EP+ controls. After this information was released, we found one instance of snubber failure on a MILNOR shuttle. Frankly, we never suspected a snubber on our Mark II & III microprocessor technology would have failed. However, if faced with unexplained microprocessor electromagnetic interference problems, we would suggest that you check the snubbers installed in the subject machine.

We are not sure if this is widespread problem or an isolated case. If you find any snubber failures, we would like you to notify the MILNOR Technical Support staff with the model/serial numbers and symptoms noted before the snubber was found failed.

If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to contact me at phone 504467-9591, ext.353, or fax 504469-9777.

Best regards,
