How do I submit a warranty claim? What is the fastest way to get my warranty claim? These are questions that most people have when it comes to a warranty part.
In short, the fastest and easiest way to submit a warranty claim is to contact Milnor parts at 504-712-7775. Milnor parts will issue a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number.
If your machine is down, the fastest way to get a part is to place a parts order through your dealer. That gets a part moving in your direction to return your machine to an operational status. Then pursue the warranty claim with obtaining a RMA.
Warranty and return to stock processing at MILNOR
To return a part to MILNOR, contact Milnor Parts at 504-712-7775 or
[email protected] and request a RMA (Return Material Authorization). We will ask for details of the return and a failure description if the part has failed. The parts invoice or machine serial number is needed to provide proof of purchase. A RMA number will be given for a return shipment.
Milnor reserves the right to replace a failed part or issue a credit to the account of the party returning the part. All returns are subject to inspection before a restock is authorized. Parts returned for restocking must be in perfect condition to be approved for restocking.
If a replacement part is needed immediately, a part should be ordered and a RMA created at the same time. The replacement will be billed while the returned part is awaiting return to Milnor.
When returning a part to Milnor, write the RMA number on outside of the package and written on a tag or tape on the part itself.
A 10 percent restocking fee applies to return to stock transactions. Freight is the responsibility of the customer.
