Interface M7e-allie

Interface Extractor (M7E) to Allied Equipment
This sections answers the following questions:
1. How to wire a CBW to an extractor (M7E) when Miltrac is not used.
2. How to interface an extrctor (M7E) to allied equipment.
All C-bits used for Allied communication must be dry contacts. Verify that there is no voltage on the contact before making connections.

*NCPOS should be Number of Modules - 1

1. Program a c-bit in the last module with the following parameters:
OP code - 09
Init code - A
Ontime - 255

Wire this c-bit to TBAS (end extract) and TBB1 (start extract) on the extractor. Wire the other side of the c-bit contact to ground. This c-bit must be programmed in every wash formula. The input at TBAS is used to end the extract sequence and begin the discharge sequence when the minimum extract time is satisfied. The input at TBB1 is used to lower the load scoop in preparation for the next load. The load scoop must be lowered (even in the case of a pass empty load) or the extractor will not give the CBW an OK to transfer.

2. Program a c-bit in the last module with the follow parameters:
Op code - 00
Init code - H
Ontime - 004

Wire one side to TBB2 on the extractor. Wire the other side of the contactor to ground. This c-bit signals the extractor to raise the load scoop and begin the extract cycle. This c-bit must be programmed for any wash formula, including pass empty.

3. The allied circuitry normally used to pass dry codes is used to pass extract codes. Using the drycode contacts in the allied data pass 16 output board mounted in the CBW, wire one side of the contacts for each drycode to ground. Wire the other side of each contact to the corresponding contact in the extractor, using the formula inputs in the extractor allied inputs. Extract codes must be programmed in the drycodes column of the CBW display H, page 3, field B.

4. Use the "Don't Main Press Goods" contact CRM in the allied data outputs for the CBW to wire one side of the contact to ground. Wire the other side to the pass empty input at the allied inputs for the extractor. This contact will signal the extractor that the transfer is an empty load. The extractor will then return to "Waiting For Load." Program a "1" on the pressure field, CBW display H, page 3, field E for the pass empty formula.

5. The input for press free on the CBW must be grounded at the proper time. This must be done using terminal points TBB5 and TBB6 located in the extractor control box. Ground TBB5 in the CBW control box for the last module. Connect TBB6 to 1MTA4-03, also located in the last module control box.
