Connector Box

What to do if the connector box hits the hydrocushion support bracket
The electrical connection box on the low extract motor is on the wrong side for the M7E when it comes from the manufacturer. Older versions of M7E42 may have the connection box on the low extract motor facing the outboard side of the drive base. In this position, contact with the hydrocushion support bracket on the inner housing is possible.

MILNOR stocks two different part numbers representing motors with electrical connection boxes on two different sides; however, the above procedure can be used in the event the wrong motor is supplied.
To solve this problem in the field:
1. Remove the motor
2. Remove the end bells from the motor and extract the rotor
3. Rotate the motor housing 180 degrees and reinstall the rotor
4. Reinstall the motor
