This is the document that is used at Milnor for converting monitors to different scan rates and device usage types. You can convert a 15.75Khz monitor to a 19.2 khz monitor among others.

Use a meter to read the OHM's across the pot.

These instruction apply to CRT type monitors only, not LCD or flat panel displays.
