DIP switch settings on a 08BT168AT board
When connecting the Diagnostic display KHTXETDCTL to the 30015/22 T5E One Touch machines.
In reference to a problem that a tech experienced in the field,when he connected his display and tried to enter diagnostic mode, the display would count down form 99 to 0 and then continually repeat the countdown.
The problem/solution is that DIP switch position 7 must be in the on position.
The manual states that these positions(3,4,5,6,&7) have no effect on the operation of the machine (MTCEUB01, Document BICEUC01 2.1.2.3)
However, DIP switch position 7 MUST be in the ON position when #8 is OFF for diagnostics.
When #7 is in the OFF position(& 8 is OFF) the board is configured for a "FACTORY ONLY TEST"(burn-in) which is not included in production software.

Both industry codes, formula sets plus GreenTurn formulas on the same EPROM.
When using software version WUT5E1D the dip switches will need to be set as below;
