When installing a Yaskawa V1000 inverter, the machine may get an Ov (over voltage) error. To resolve this we will need to add a braking resistor. It should be mounted between the console and the electrical box either to the right side or the front of the electrical box. Using the 2 mounting brackets to attach the resistor and connect it to the B1 and B2 terminals of the inverter using 10awg stranded wire. Mount the thermostat to the bracket and connect in series with the inverter contactor coil terminal "A". No changes to the inverter programming are necessary.
