Replacing Isolators

How do I install isomounts?
Procedure for replacing isolators on 64046 "E" style machines.
1. Tilt the machine so that isolators are vertical.
2. Measure from the back bottom of the cone to the floor.
3. Cut a piece of 4 inch schedule 40 pipe to the measured length. The pipe should be strong enough to support the back of the machine.
4. Notch the pipe at one end to fit the bottom of the cone.
5. Tilt the machine up, then lower it onto the pipe to remove some weight.
6. Drain the oil from the isolator. To do this, remove the snorkel from the top and the drain plug from the bottom.
7. Use the machines hydraulics to lower the back frame; this is expanding (relaxing) the back isolators. Leave some tension in the isolators.
8. Use a 7/16" threaded rod through the isolator using nuts and large washers, snug the nuts. The rod will go through the snorkel hole and the bottom drain hole.
9. Remove the hardware holding the isolators to the machine.
10. Lower the back of the machine a little more and the isolator will be free to slide out.
11. Remove one isolator at a time. Loosen the nuts on the threaded rod and the isolator will come apart. Be sure threaded rod is long enough to allow all tension off the large spring before the nut comes off the all thread.
12. Reverse the procedure to put them back in. To access the front isolators you will need to move the upper frame member. It is not necessary to disconnect or cut electrical cables, they can be moved out of the way.
13. Use a substantial jack and raise the front of the machine from the bottom of the shell front.
14. Use the same method with the threaded rod to slightly compress the isolators for removal and replacement.
15. Reverse the procedure to put them back in.
