Recycles Often

30", 36" and 42" machines with Isolators; Leans slightly and recycles.
Applies to isolator mounted machines from 30" to 42" cylinder diameter (model numbers 30022F8, 36030F7 and 42032F7). This solution applies to machines with isolators using a rod, body, spring and pucks.

There have been several instances where the isolator mounted machines have started to lean to one side and recycle. The onset of the problem is subtle. The machine will simply recycle when going to extract on a more frequent basis as the machine gets older.
The compression on the pucks (which isolate the shell and frame from the isolator) diminishes over time as the puck grows older. The nuts do not back off but instead the puck takes a compression set. As the nuts on the isolators are tightened, the machine will actually stand more erect and withstand higher lateral forces at the onset of extract if the nuts are properly tightened. This adjustment reduces the occurrence of recycle at the onset of extract.
The recycle switch should not be adjusted to overcome the recycle problem.
Retighten the nuts and torque them to the following:

For 36" and 42" machines tension the nuts to 250 inch pounds (21 foot pounds).
For 30" machines tension the nuts to 180 inch pounds (15 foot pounds).

Then, make the tensioning of the nuts part of a regular maintenance program.
