SUBJECT: MAINTENANCE PROCEDURE FOR BALDOR MOTORS

Dear MILNOR Dealer:

Attached is a new preventive maintenance procedure specifically for Baldor motors, furnishing both general maintenance information and a formula for determining the lubrication interval as determined by actual service conditions.

Previously, we provided a specific lubrication interval and grease quantity for motors equipped with grease fittings. Since this new information matches the lubrication schedule to the operating environment, it minimizes the possibility of over or under lubrication. This document is being added to all applicable service manuals.
