Program Mode

How to change the program mode operation on a GPD503 model inverter.
This information is taken from the Magnatek Inverter manual. This manual is provided with
every machine.

A. CHANGING DISPLAY WITH DSPL KEY:
1. Press PRGM/DRIVE key to select program mode. The DRIVE lamp turns off. Display changes to first Frequency Reference Memory Settings constant number.
2. Press DSPL key. The display changes to first Run Operative Settings constant number (bn-xx).
3. Press DSPL key. The display changes to first System Constants number (sn-xx).
4. Press DSPL key. Cycle begins again with first Frequency Reference Memory Settings constant number (cn-xx).
5. After all programming is complete, press PRGM/DRIVE key to return to Drive mode. The drive lamp lights and displays the Frequency Reference (an-01) setting.


B. PROCEDURE FOR CHANGING A SETTING
1. Press "up" and "down" arrow keys as necessary until display shows the desired constant number. The value scrolls up or down by 1 each time one of these keys is pressed.
2. Press DATA/ENTER key to display the current setting. The display shows the value currently stored in memory for the constant.
3. Press "right", "up" and "down" keys as necessary until the display shows desired setting.
4. Press DATA/ENTER key to store the new setting. "End" is displayed for approximately one second, then the setting is displayed again with one digit blinking. "Err" will appear instead of "End" if the setting entered is not within the acceptable range. The value defaults to the previous setting.
5. Press DSPL key to return to Setting Number Selection. The display return to the beginning of the cycle for selection of setting number to be programmed.
